Property for sale in Cornwall for under £100,000
It may come as a surprise to the average Cornish citizen that there is actually property on the market for less than six figures. With an incredible boom in property prices in the county, there is little choice in the under £100,000 range.
But they are not entirely sterile. With a mix of auction properties and homes for sale, there are options if you are looking for a project or a small starting point to get up the property ladder.
The following are for sale in Cornwall from 20 May 2022 for under £100,000. This does not include vacation rental listings or fractional ownership properties.

Two bed properties
Church Street, Liskeard (Millerson) – £99,950
The most expensive property on this list, just £50 below the top price range, this cottage (formerly a rental property) is also one of the few in Cornwall for five figures that would sleep a family comfortably.

This apartment up for auction is located very close to Penzance train station.
Foundry Gardens, Launceston (Millerson) – £85,000
A two bedroom flat in Launceston ‘in need of an update’.
Well Lane, Liskeard (Bradley’s estate agent) – £80,000
A two bedroom apartment that has been recently renovated. Advertised as an ideal buy-to-let but could be a family’s first step up the ladder.
Fore Street, St Austell (Miller nationwide) – £85,000
Another two-bedroom apartment above a shop, this one in St. Austell.
One bed properties

One-room apartment without parking space. Described as “boltole”.

While it’s a gamble, this one-bed flat is up for auction and could be caught before it hits the £100,000 mark.
Bay Tree Hill, Liskeard (strike) – £57,000
One bed studio in what the real estate agents call “Sunny Liskeard”.
Mathus Court, Liskeard (Stratton Creber) – £63,000
A one bedroom apartment right in Liskeard town centre.
Fore Street, Bodmin (Stratton Creber) – £72,500
This one bedroom apartment is in a converted Grade II listed building and was previously used as a rental property. Another on the same block is on sale for £80,000
Longstone Hill, Carbis Bay (Cross Estates) – £77,000
This Carbis Bay studio apartment, held under a Section 106 agreement, can only be purchased by those with a need and local connection to the area.
