Love Local CV hosts street party to help non-profit organization The Narrow Door

The Love Local CV organization kicks off the new year with a street party at Southwest Church.

At the street fair, 80 local companies will present their products and services. Additionally, businesses from across the Coachella Valley will work with the community to donate non-perishable groceries that will be donated to The Narrow Door to feed local families in need.

The Love Local CV app helps Coachella Valley companies showcase for free and lets the community know if they’re hiring. Companies can share special offers and post vacancies directly in the app. Other companies wishing to participate in the app can sign up for free by simply downloading the app and selecting “Register Company” from the dropdown menu.

“Our mission is to unite the Coachella Valley and send a message of hope to local businesses through the Love Local CV initiative,” said Brad Kinney, Love Local CV creator and Pastor of Advancement at Southwest Church. “The street fair and Love Local CV mobile app are powerful opportunities that we believe will help inspire and boost our local economies,” said Kinney.

Founded in the midst of the pandemic, Love Local CV has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for small businesses in the Coachella Valley.

The street festival will be held at Southwest Church on Sunday, February 6 from 9am to 1pm.
